Obituary For Woodard Hemphill
Woodard Hemphill, 79 transitioned from his earthly home on July 29th, 2026 at Plaza Health and Rehab, Charlotte.
He was a lifelong resident of Charlotte, NC and son of the late William and Bobbi Gill Hemphill.
Along with his parents, Woodard was preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Mary Hemphill Green and Marion Hemphill and 2 Brothers, William Hemphill, Jr and Bennie Wilson Hemphill.
Survivors include 5 Sisters, Docia Randolph, Margaret Hemphill and Veronica Hemphill of Maryland, Joyce H, Lindsey of Charlotte and Vivian Hemphill of Houston, Texas, 2 Brothers, James and Ronald Hemphill of Charlotte.
Graveside Services will be held Sunday, August 2nd, 2026 at Oaklawn Cemetery located at 1612-1615 Oaklawn Avenue, Charlotte, NC. Time is set for 1:00 pm
