Mr. George Butch Turner, Jr. of Kings Mountain, NC was called home to be with the Lord on June 17,2025. He was born and raised to the late Mary Ann Young and George Turner in Kings Mountain on February 13,1960.

George attended school in Bridgeport, Connecticut before moving to North Carolina as a young adult where he lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed music; Michael Jackson was his favorite dancing music. Fashion was his thing and he loved being around family and friends.

He is survived by his two sisters, Nicole Turner of Kings Mountain, NC, Laura Mackins (Tony) of Gastonia, NC, a brother Tico Turner (Katie) of Shelby, NV; two sons, Brian Floyd (Jacqueline) of Raleigh, NC, Dijon Wilson of Gastonia, NC, stepchildren, Denise (vanity), Travis, Renita, Myrika (Jimmy); along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Sylvia, Marion, and Barron Turner as well as his longtime companion, Ann Floyd.

Funeral Services were held Friday June 20th at Adams Chapel AME Zion Church located on Lake Montonia Road King Mountain. Burial took place at Mountain Rest Cemetery.
