  On this occasion, as we remember the life of Binnie Wilson, and look forward the celebration of Easter, I am reminded of Jesus' words to Mary as she grieved the loss of her brother, Lazarus - "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies." Bennie Wilson has completed his journey that we all must take, but he was blessed beyond family and friends who loved him. His blessing was his longevity. Psalm 90 says "As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years; Or if due to strength, eighty years..". Exceeded eighty by two, so he was blessed. Of all Big Mama and Big Daddy's grandsons, Binnie Wilson's name was unique. He is the only grandson that was named after two of their sons-the oldest and the youngest. Someone thought that he was special! May he rest in peace and joined those who have gone before him.

  "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 Tomorrow we will gather to celebrate a life full of love, laughter, and legacy. Bennie, you touched everyone around you in ways you may never have known. We are better for having had you. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing you are no longer absent from God, but home with Him at last. Go rest, big brother. You were deeply loved. With love, Margaret Hemphill
